Cozy apartment w/ terrace, pool & views

Positive: Het appartement bood een heerlijk rustige vakantie en was van alle comfort voorzien. Het hoogtepunt voor ons zoontje was het zwembad, dat we bijna helemaal voor ons alleen hadden. Het nabijgelegen stadje is te voet bereikbaar en heeft fijne restaurants. Houd er wel rekening mee dat je voor uitstapjes echt een auto nodig hebt. Negative: Klein minpuntje was echter het ophalen en afleveren van de sleutel in Puerto banus het drukste punt van heel Marbella. Hou zeker rekening mee in terugkeer naar de luchthaven dat het daar aanschuiven is en je zeker 45min moet bijrekenen in je tijd.

A stylish, peaceful apartment with a premium feel and an excellent base for exploring the Costa del Sol. Positive: We had a wonderful two-week stay at The Residence and would happily return. The apartment is modern, spacious and very well equipped. The large terrace became our second living room – we spent every morning having breakfast there and every evening relaxing together. The kitchen is modern, the interior feels fresh and tasteful, and the whole complex gives the impression of a premium residential community rather than a typical holiday apartment. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. The only thing future guests should keep in mind is the location. The beach is about a 30-minute walk away. While this is pleasant early in the mornin, during the hot summer afternoons and even evenings it feels much longer because of the heat. We found having a car almost essential for going to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. Negative: A few small improvements could make the apartment feel even more luxurious: * The terrace would benefit from warm ambient lighting. In the evenings we preferred sitting in the dark because the existing lighting felt quite harsh and the wicker lamps created shadows instead of a soft, cosy atmosphere. * The building is still relatively new, but the exposed concrete on the terrace ceiling is already peeling in places and would benefit from refinishing. * Replacing the inexpensive artificial plants with higher-quality ones would make the terrace feel much more elegant and inviting. These are only minor details. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a peaceful, stylish base to explore the Costa del Sol.

Negative: Impossible d’avoir les clés. Une fois sur place on m’a dit qu’il fallait que je fasse 45 minutes de route pour aller chercher les clés… dans une station service et dans une boîte à clé. 45 minutes retour et … les clés n’étaient pas les bonnes. On me dit que je n’ai pas pris les bonnes mais j’ai pris celle que la boîte à clé m’a donné avec le code fourni. Organisation pourrie. Service déplorable et heureusement que je parle anglais et espagnol sinon ça aurait un bien pire cauchemard. Bref à fuire absolument. Désorganisation totale et aucune considération du client qui doit faire des heures de route dans les embouteillages. Une de mes pires expériences. Mais merci à Booking pour son assistance. La j’ai été écouté. J’ai tout annulé après avoir perdu quasi une journée entière.
